Exterior

The striking exterior styling of the Arksen 65 was created by Humphreys Yacht Design. Finished in bare aluminium as standard, the hull and superstructure can optionally be painted or wrapped to suit personal requirements.

The selection of a super efficient Modeshift® hullform by Humphreys Yacht Design coupled with complex curvature on the hull has resulted in lower resistance and lower power requirement at long distance cruising speeds. This delivers optimum efficiency while also providing excellent seakeeping to maintain stability.

Decking

All deck areas are fitted with a nitrile rubber non-slip deck covering. Covering will provide sufficient grip underfoot, in a wide range of conditions, whilst being comfortable to sit or kneel on, or to walk on with bare feet. Optionally, various decking alternatives are available, such as Tesumo; a more sustainable real-wood alternative to Teak, and Esthec ,a synthetic decking material, available in a wide varierty of colours and patterns.

Coatings

The hull below waterline is primed and antifouled with Intersleek. Propellers and shafts exposed below waterline are coated with Propspeed. The hull above waterline and the superstructure are bare sanded aluminium, with visible welds. This gives a robust, purposeful look with minimal maintenance requirement.

Optionally, some of the welding can be sanded-flush, for a more consistent finish. A variety of other optional finishes are also available, such as clearcoat, painted, faired & painted and vinyl wrapped.
