Arksen launches outdoor performance clothing label
Arksen is now proud to introduce its new outdoor performance clothing label Arksen Labs. Arksen is a name synonymous with adventure and Arksen Labs technical apparel perfectly fits into this ecosystem by delivering a range of iconic outdoor adventure products. The brand has created a range of garments that are a fusion of progressive design and performance technology, engineered using the world’s most boundary pushing, innovative fabrics, such as Shoeller, Pertex, Majotech and Polartec. The collection was designed for adventures both urban and wild, developed to minimise environmental impact and maximise product lifespan.

For their first SS23 collection Arksen Labs have drawn from their adventures and experience with travelling and research to create a capsule of all they believe you will ever need. It is designed to be worn as separates or layered up and enjoyed adventure after adventure. Labs will also repair any damage to help extend the life of every product, a highly versatile outdoor collection designed for life and developed for every environment.

With the fabrics being at the forefront of Arksen Labs products, they have used specific materials for every garment tailored to its needs and functionality. Made in Portugal in 95% recycled fabrics, every Arksen Labs piece has been engineered for durability, longevity and versatility whilst being comfortable and high performing.
Their lightweight down pieces are made using 100% recycled down called ReDown® while the Obex waterproof jacket is made using Schoeller C_change™. This fabric is a new membrane technology from Schoeller® which takes nature as its role model, inspired by pine cones which open and close in response to different weather conditions.
The Gilets and lightweight down jackets from the collection are made using Majotech® Waterzero®, this fabric is an alternative method to traditional dyeing, with the aim and intent of drastically reducing water, energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

Another key fabric used for the Cayus waterproof packable jacket is Pertex®, which are shield fabrics to provide lightweight waterproof protection whilst remaining highly breathable. Designed for intense mountain pursuits where weight and breathability are key, Pertex® Shield fabrics allow you to move fast and stay comfortable.
